eHealth HUB Investment Readiness Academy + EC2VC
The greatest opportunity, to network with the most influential digital health investors in Europe
In 2019, the 11th edition of EC2VC Investors Forum and Pitch Competition will take place in Helsinki at Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo & Convention Centre as part of HIMSS/ Health 2.0 Europe 2019. EC2VC includes a dynamic pitch competition for startups and SMEs looking for funding. Twelve selected companies present their solutions in front of a jury of influential digital health investors. Pitch presenters will introduce their solutions in a 4-minute pitch, followed by 6 minutes of Q&A.
Two winners will be announced in two categories: ”Shoot”, for companies pitching for their first investment, ”Bloom”, for companies having already received private funding and looking for follow up investment.

eHealth HUB Workshop
Main insights and challenges shaping the future of digital health
This policy-oriented workshop, invitation-only session, is organized by eHealth HUB in partnership with HIMSS Europe. The aim of this session is to share and validate the main insights acquired by eHealth Hub in the field of digital health innovation and to identify the current main challenges of the sector that can be of interest for future policy initiatives. Speakers will include representatives of the Dutch Ministry of Health, TicBioMed, Odense Hospital, SITRA the Finnish Innovation Fund. Conclusions will be presented on the 13 June at 13:30, opening the session: HEALTH 2.0 showcase: AI solutions for providers.

HEALTH 2.0 showcase: AI solutions for providers
Fresh Health 2.0 solutions powered by AI are making the news every day, but their true potential is yet to be unleashed and their implementation in the clinical settings remain sporadic. Do all these solutions really use AI? And are we prepared to use them in the operating theatre, care-homes, waiting rooms, and GP offices? This session will feature a high- level panel of CIOs and executives to discuss the current situation on the market, with a special focus on tools for hospitals, and providers.
